My name is Pat Guard and I have been a professional photographer for more than 40 years. I first used a film SLR camera at the age of 6 (it was a Leica with a Zeiss lens) and have been fascinated by them ever since! I did my Master's work in Photography at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX.
I have photographed everyone from small passport photos to weddings in Europe. I have photographed everything from food to skyscrapers for companies as big as Coca Cola and Club Corporation of America. I love everything to do with photography and hope this comes across in the course.

Learn to Shoot Like a Pro - Where is the course held?
The Course is held at our beautiful studio in Kingwood, Texas. Nestled in the pines of North Houston, you will have the opportunity to shoot in an actual studio and outside in various locations.
The cost of the full day 6-hour class is $150. This includes a 3-hour portion that will teach you the inner workings of your digital DSLR (aperture, shutter speed, ISO, depth of field) - everything to need get you off of AUTOMATIC. Also included is a pizza dinner as we head into the second 3 hours of the class where you will learn posing, lighting, composition, on camera flash and most importantly Photoshop. One of the most important features of "Shoot Like a Pro" is the $10 return ticket. For $10, you can return at any time and retake the class. This is a lot of information. When you actually get out into the field and start shooting, you may have questions. What better way to answer those questions than to step back into class and review the whole process.
